Its been a little while since we last took a look at what has been happening at the Very Light Rail Innovation Centre in Dudley in regards to the repairs to the West Midlands Metro Urbos3 trams so in this article we bring it up-to-date with two trams remaining in situ undergoing attention.<\/p>\n

The two trams currently located at the Very Light Rail Innovation Centre are 32<\/strong> and 35<\/strong>. 35<\/strong> has been the tram which has been at Dudley the longer and work is underway on completing its repairs \u2013 as with all other trams this involves the replacement of the cracked panels.<\/p>\n The trams which have been to Dudley for repairs so far are (some dates are approximate and best guesses):<\/p>\n 17 \u2013 October-December 2022 (now stored at Worksop)<\/p>\n 20 \u2013 returned April 2023<\/p>\n 24 \u2013 January-March 2023<\/p>\n 25 \u2013 departed March 2023<\/p>\n 26 \u2013 October 2022-Janaury 2023 (now stored at Worksop)<\/p>\n 27 \u2013 December 2022-January 2023<\/p>\n 29 \u2013 December 2022-March 2023 (now stored at Worksop)<\/p>\n 30 \u2013 departed April 2023<\/p>\n 32 \u2013 currently at Dudley<\/p>\n 33 \u2013 returned 11th<\/sup> August 2023<\/p>\n 35 \u2013 currently at Dudley<\/p>\n In addition 28<\/strong> went to Wolverton for repair work to take place, other trams have seen some attention at Wednesbury Depot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Its been a little while since we last took a look at what has been happening at the Very Light Rail Innovation Centre in Dudley in regards to the repairs to the West Midlands Metro Urbos3 trams so in this … Continue reading
