{"id":51494,"date":"2023-11-02T18:00:36","date_gmt":"2023-11-02T18:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=51494"},"modified":"2023-11-02T17:09:42","modified_gmt":"2023-11-02T17:09:42","slug":"metrolink-engineering-works-4th-5th-november-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=51494","title":{"rendered":"Metrolink Engineering Works: 4th &#038; 5th November 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The last planned engineering works on Manchester Metrolink before the busy festive period will be taking place over the weekend of Saturday 4<sup>th<\/sup> and Sunday 5<sup>th<\/sup> November affecting services on both the Bury and Rochdale lines.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>During the weekend no trams will run:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bury-Whitefield<\/li>\n<li>Freehold-Rochdale Town Centre<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Replacement bus services serving all stops in these areas will be running instead.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday 4<sup>th<\/sup> November revised services on the network will run as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Whitefield-Piccadilly<\/li>\n<li>East Didsbury-Freehold (between 0900 and 1830 this will run every 6 minutes)<\/li>\n<li>Altrincham-Crumpsall (between 0900 and 1830 only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Then on Sunday 5<sup>th<\/sup> November trams will run every 12 minutes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Whitefield-Piccadilly<\/li>\n<li>East Didsbury-Freehold<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All other routes on both days will run as normal.<\/p>\n<p>Head of Metrolink, Danny Vaughan, said: \u201cWe are very sorry for any inconvenience these essential works may cause people to people travelling this weekend.
