{"id":51390,"date":"2023-10-27T22:00:58","date_gmt":"2023-10-27T21:00:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=51390"},"modified":"2023-10-27T18:48:03","modified_gmt":"2023-10-27T17:48:03","slug":"in-pictures-more-odas-fitted-trams-in-blackpool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=51390","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: More ODAS fitted trams in Blackpool"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The project to fit the modern Flexity2 trams in Blackpool with ODAS equipment has been continuing in recent weeks with a further three trams now having received the cameras required for the system to work. <strong>004<\/strong>, <strong>009<\/strong> and <strong>015<\/strong> have now all been fitted with the cameras and were seen in service during mid-October.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>ODAS is an obstacle detection system with the cameras able to detect when an obstruction is on the line ahead and will bring the tram to a stop.
