{"id":51224,"date":"2023-10-01T17:00:21","date_gmt":"2023-10-01T16:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=51224"},"modified":"2023-10-01T12:06:28","modified_gmt":"2023-10-01T11:06:28","slug":"trams-blackpool-balloon-715-bus-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=51224","title":{"rendered":"Trams &#038;: Blackpool Balloon 715 &#038; bus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;re back for the next few weeks with &#8220;Trams &amp;&#8221; and we start off in Blackpool as we see the old and the new of two different transport modes meeting.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In this photo we take a look at the Fylde Transport Trust\u2019s <strong>Blackpool Balloon 715<\/strong> which was operating on Heritage Tram Tours during the 2022 Anniversary Weekend. The location is Cabin with the double decker calling at Cabin as it works a trip to Fleetwood. This was to be <strong>715<\/strong>\u2019s final weekend of public tours before withdrawal with it becoming a static display at Tramtown for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n<p>Looking across to the other side of the road and we see the \u201c&amp;\u201d part of this image \u2013 a Blackpool Transport bus working a line 1 service to Starr Gate. The bus carries vinyls for Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s Platinum Jubilee.
