{"id":50499,"date":"2023-08-04T18:00:14","date_gmt":"2023-08-04T17:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=50499"},"modified":"2023-07-29T17:04:17","modified_gmt":"2023-07-29T16:04:17","slug":"picture-in-time-snaefell-mountain-railway-3-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=50499","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Snaefell Mountain Railway 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Its back to \u201cPicture in Time\u201d and another photo taken on the Isle of Man with the Snaefell Mountain Railway the subject this week.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In 2016 <strong>Snaefell Mountain Railway 3<\/strong> ran away from the Summit at Snaefell with no-one on board the vehicle. It made it all the way down to Bungalow where it left the tracks and the body was destroyed. The remains of the underframe were recovered and a replacement body and underframe ordered to rebuild the vehicle in the future.
