In this latest article we return to the extension to see more of the construction progress as track continues to be laid at both ends of the route. The photographer is Ken Jones.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Whereas last time out we saw the track going down at the city centre end of the line this time we go to High Street Deritend at the far end of the line. As we\u2019ve seen before this end of the line will definitely not be seeing any trams for quite some time as it is beyond the Curzon Street HS2 station around which construction work can\u2019t really get underway until the HS2 work is completed. Whereas at the other end of the line most of the track has been encased in concrete it remains exposed here.
