{"id":50146,"date":"2023-07-01T22:00:38","date_gmt":"2023-07-01T21:00:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=50146"},"modified":"2023-07-05T20:22:58","modified_gmt":"2023-07-05T19:22:58","slug":"20-returns-to-service-on-west-midlands-metro","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=50146","title":{"rendered":"20 returns to service on West Midlands Metro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Its been a few weeks since we\u2019ve seen a tram enter or re-enter service on the West Midlands Metro but Thursday 29<sup>th<\/sup> June was an important day in the history of Urbos3 <strong>20<\/strong> as it retuned to service for the first time since undergoing repairs at Dudley.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>20<\/strong> is one of the trams which was sent away to the Very Light Innovation Centre in Dudley to allow its bodyside repairs (in effect panel replacement) to take place. We don\u2019t have a date for when it made the move but we do know that it came back on 11<sup>th<\/sup> April 2023. As with many of the trams it has then taken a long time for it to be prepared for service with two and half months having passed.<\/p>\n<p>The re-entry into service of <strong>20<\/strong> means that all but one of the \u201cDudley trams\u201d that have been returned to Wednesbury have now run in service. These are <strong>17<\/strong>, <strong>20<\/strong>, <strong>24<\/strong>, <strong>26<\/strong>, <strong>27<\/strong>, <strong>29<\/strong>. The odd one out is 25.
