As Brighton\u2019s Volk\u2019s Electric Railway runs right along the seafront between the Aquarium (by Palace Pier) to Black Rock (just shy of the Marina) its operation can be very much weather dependent. But there were no such worries on 20th<\/sup> May when two pairs of trains were running: 6<\/strong>+10<\/strong> and 7<\/strong>+8<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are two main types of train which run on the Volk\u2019s Electric Railway: open and semi-open cars. This combination has one of each with semi-open 6 leading open 10 along the line.<\/p><\/div>\n

The second pair saw two semi-opens in use: 7+8. With 7 in front the two cars are seen in a more secluded section of the route as they approach the one intermediate stop at Halfway.<\/p><\/div>\n

The road alongside the railway seems to have ever present coaches from various day trip to the seaside. This is 6+10 again.<\/p><\/div>\n

6+10 leave Aquarium with another journey along the line. The building behind the cars is the Visitor Centre and we also spot the platform here. The Aquarium the station gets its name from is on the right in the distance and the Palace Pier is on the left hand side.
