The colourful piece of artwork has been commissioned by the civic society Chorlton Voice and was formally unveiled on Tuesday 30<sup>th<\/sup> May.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Manchester based artist, Caroline Daly, has painted the artwork on the lift shaft at the tramstop and as well as Batman it also features green spaces and birds to reflect local biodiversity. The mural was designed by members of Chorlton Voice and a steering group of local community groups, traders, councillors and council officers. Funding came from the Manchester City Council Neighbourhood Investment Fund.<\/p>\n<p>Dany Vaughan, TfGM\u2019s Head of Metrolink, said: \u201cWe have worked very closely with Chorlton Voice on this project over several years, so I\u2019m delighted to see this brilliant artwork finally come to fruition.
