Its first appearance out on the mainline was Wednesday 17<sup>th<\/sup> May and although its not yet been used in passenger service its use means four of the trams went to Dudley have now returned to action during May so far.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>27<\/strong> had originally left Wednesbury on 9<sup>th<\/sup> December 2022 and after its repairs were completed at Dudley it was back on West Midlands Metro metals on 23<sup>rd<\/sup> January 2023. Despite the fact that it had been back for almost four months it hadn\u2019t been prepared for use again \u2013 until now!<\/p>\n<p>May has already seen <strong>24<\/strong>, <strong>26<\/strong> and <strong>29<\/strong> enter service plus Urbos100 <strong>51<\/strong> for the first time so it does seem to be a concerted effort to get as many trams operational on the line and will hopefully mean there is more variety on the daily service than seen in recent months.<\/p>\n<p>Of note is that <strong>27<\/strong> is in full blue vinyls but both <strong>24<\/strong> and <strong>29<\/strong>, which pre-dated it back out, are still running with plain white panels.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_49577\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=49577\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-49577\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-49577\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-49577\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/27-aw-550x302.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"302\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-49577\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">27 on Driver Training on its first day back in use.
