{"id":49180,"date":"2023-04-22T14:00:33","date_gmt":"2023-04-22T13:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=49180"},"modified":"2023-04-21T19:09:41","modified_gmt":"2023-04-21T18:09:41","slug":"met-331-makes-its-a-bakers-dozen-of-trams-for-crich","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=49180","title":{"rendered":"MET 331 makes it\u2019s a bakers dozen of trams for Crich"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tuesday 18<sup>th<\/sup> April saw the 13<sup>th<\/sup> different passenger tram to run in service at the Crich Tramway Village in 2023 \u2013 but it wasn\u2019t an unlucky number for <strong>Metropolitan Electric Tramways 331<\/strong> which became the latest tram to be used this year.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As a fully enclosed tram you may have expected <strong>MET 331<\/strong> to have been included in the operating fleet a bit earlier in the year, or at least at the 1940s weekend which it is often used at, but it was only commissioned in the workshop recently and cleared for service. This allowed it to be used for the first time on Tuesday 18<sup>th<\/sup> April.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second London tram to have run at Crich this year with <strong>London United Tramways 159<\/strong> having been the first.
