This meant that the temporary terminus here returned allowing for the chance to see trams being turned here using the in-service crossover just to the Haymarket side of the stop.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Trams ran\u00a0to the usual timetable throughout this period (scheduled to be between Monday 13<sup>th<\/sup> and Sunday 19<sup>th<\/sup> February but in the end normal service resumed on Sunday 19th) with the only difference to passengers being you couldn\u2019t get any further than West End if heading towards the city centre.<\/p>\n<p>West End is no stranger to being a terminus with it being used around this time last year when York Place stop was being decommissioned and also frequently during special events held on Princes Street.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_48408\" style=\"width: 372px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=48408\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-48408\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-48408\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-48408\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/1.poster-rc-362x550.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"362\" height=\"550\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/1.poster-rc-362x550.jpg 362w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/1.poster-rc-673x1024.jpg 673w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/1.poster-rc-768x1168.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/1.poster-rc.jpg 854w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 362px) 100vw, 362px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-48408\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Notices were posted at stops to let passengers know of the service change. In the meantime 254 is waiting to access the temporary terminus but won\u2019t be able to do so until the former departs.
