{"id":48295,"date":"2023-02-10T18:00:12","date_gmt":"2023-02-10T18:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=48295"},"modified":"2023-02-05T10:47:20","modified_gmt":"2023-02-05T10:47:20","slug":"picture-in-time-south-yorkshire-supertram-18","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=48295","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: South Yorkshire Supertram 18"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are back with another edition of \u201cPicture in Time\u201d today as we return to Sheffield for another photo taken in 1995 in the early days of the Supertram system.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Taken on 9<sup>th<\/sup> March 1995 this photo shows <strong>18<\/strong> on the delta junction at Park Square with a service for Gleadless Townend (which as we\u2019ve seen earlier in this series of photos was the limit of operations in this direction at this point in time). The driver checks to his left as the tram will turn towards us with the next stop being at Sheffield Station before it continues on its way to Gleadless Townend.<\/p>\n<p><strong>18<\/strong> \u2013 now numbered <strong>118<\/strong> in the current Stagecoach fleet but formed partly of <strong>120<\/strong> after a collision between the two in 2015 \u2013 was delivered to Sheffield on 6<sup>th<\/sup> April 1994.
