{"id":47096,"date":"2022-11-13T17:00:46","date_gmt":"2022-11-13T17:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=47096"},"modified":"2022-11-13T08:57:13","modified_gmt":"2022-11-13T08:57:13","slug":"trams-blackpool-flexity2-003-bus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=47096","title":{"rendered":"Trams &#038;: Blackpool Flexity2 003 &#038; bus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The location for today\u2019s edition of \u201cTrams &amp;\u201d is the Blackpool Tramway as we head to the northern outpost of the system at Fleetwood to see one of the modern Flexity2 trams alongside one of Blackpool Transport\u2019s buses.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>There are various locations on tramways across the UK where you are almost guaranteed to be able to capture images of trams with, ordinarily, a bus to allow us to include them in this series. On the Blackpool Tramway one such location is the Fleetwood Ferry terminus on Bold Street which has a handy interchange available between the two forms of transport. And that is where this photo is taken on 2<sup>nd<\/sup> June 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The single track tram terminus \u2013 situated on a loop which runs along North Albert Street, Bold Street, Fleetwood Esplanade and Pharos Street \u2013 is occupied by <strong>Flexity2 003<\/strong> in this shot. This is one of two trams in the Blackpool fleet at this time to carry a full vinyl wrap livery for Pretty Little Thing and with a bright pink colour it certainly stands out from the crowd!<\/p>\n<p>On the left hand side it is joined by one of Blackpool Transport\u2019s ADL Enviro400 City buses. Numbered 455 in the fleet \u2013 and with the registration number SN67 WZW \u2013 this bus is in the Palladium livery now carried by the bus fleet.
