Now evidence of preparation for this work to take place is obvious with the brackets to support the wires being installed on Leith Walk.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The 2.91 mile extension runs from York Place in Edinburgh City Centre to Newhaven via Leith Walk and Ocean Terminal. The entire route will require overhead wires to be installed and much of this will be strung from poles which have already been put in place.
