The tram interest is provided by two of the regular performers on the tramway circuit: <strong>Newcastle 114<\/strong> and <strong>Oporto 196<\/strong>. The open top Newcastle car is working on the clockwise circuit whist the Portuguese single decker in the attractive South Shields livery is running anti-clockwise.<\/p>\n<p>The two trams are joined by Darlington bus no. 4. This is a Daimler CVG5 which was the second Daimler bus to be purchased by Beamish with a view to running them into the new 1950s town once that was completed.
