The advert had been applied back in May and was stripped from the tram at the end of September.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Although we had seen various part advertising liveries (where ads were full height on the centre section and then just above the windows on the rest of the tram) before on the West Midlands Metro the University of Birmingham advert on <strong>39<\/strong> had been the very first commercial advertising contract which was a true vinyl wrap and featured contravision on the windows as well.<\/p>\n<p>The removal of these vinyls means that there are now three trams in the fleet which don\u2019t have standard fleet livery (plus <strong>36<\/strong> and its rainbows). <strong>19<\/strong> has vinyls for the M is for Metro campaign, <strong>22<\/strong> for the Metro Training Academy and <strong>42<\/strong> is the sole commercial advert for Nourished.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_46603\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=46603\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-46603\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46603\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-46603\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/1.39-aw-550x309.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"309\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-46603\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">39 back in full blue calls at Wednesbury Parkway when bound for Wolverhampton St George\u2019s.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_46604\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=46604\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-46604\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46604\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-46604\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/2.39-aw-550x309.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"309\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-46604\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Another shot of 39 as it heads back south to Library and makes the stop at Wednesbury Great Western Street.
