{"id":46464,"date":"2022-09-24T22:00:51","date_gmt":"2022-09-24T21:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=46464"},"modified":"2022-09-20T20:40:03","modified_gmt":"2022-09-20T19:40:03","slug":"in-pictures-west-midlands-metro-36-at-the-end-of-the-rainbow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=46464","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: West Midlands Metro 36 at the end of the rainbow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Birmingham Pride \u2013 which takes place in the city on Saturday 24<sup>th<\/sup> and Sunday 25<sup>th<\/sup> September \u2013 is being celebrated and support by the West Midlands Metro again with Urbos3 <strong>36<\/strong> receiving a special livery complete with rainbows. This is just the latest Pride based livery to be carried by a tram in the West Midlands with previous trams also having carried similar temporary vinyls.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>36<\/strong> is one of nine Urbos3 trams which are known to have returned to service on the West Midlands Metro which coupled with the eight Urbos100 trams means there are now at least 17 trams available to operate the service. At the current time there appear to be no plans to increase the service frequency.<\/p>\n<p>The latest arrivals in the city \u2013 <strong>46<\/strong> and <strong>47<\/strong> \u2013 have started overnight testing but have not yet been noted out on the mainline during daylight hours but it isn\u2019t expected to be too long before they break cover and start the road to entering service.<\/p>\n<p>For the record the Urbos3s which have run since the resumption of services are <strong>18<\/strong>, <strong>19<\/strong>, <strong>21<\/strong>, <strong>22<\/strong>, <strong>31<\/strong>, <strong>34<\/strong>, <strong>36<\/strong> and <strong>37<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_46465\" style=\"width: 560px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?attachment_id=46465\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-46465\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46465\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-46465\" src=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/36-mm-550x413.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/36-mm-550x413.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/36-mm-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/36-mm-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/36-mm.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-46465\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">36 with its rainbow on the windows on the first section of the tram behind the drivers cab.
