The weekend will see another hop-on, hop-off timetable in operation with seven trams running on each day whilst there are also depot tours, a mini system tour plus the usual pre-bookable themed, Coastal and Promenade Tours.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As previously advised the weekend will provide the final opportunity for public tours on board <strong>Balloon 715<\/strong> which is due to be withdrawn from service as it requires workshop attention having not seen any significant work for several decades. The tram is scheduled to run on both days. Railcoach 680 and Brush 621 are also allocated to the timetable. But as we always say it&#8217;s all subject to the usual caveats!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hop-on, hop-off tours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The timetable due to run on both days has been published on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo\/?fbid=454058910079121&amp;set=gm.1262839574484649&amp;idorvanity=1262838147818125\">Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours Facebook page<\/a>. This will see seven trams running timetabled journeys across the complete length of the tramway \u2013 including to and from Starr Gate, a rare opportunity for a heritage tram to Starr Gate in 2022. The first tram will depart from North Pier and Tower at 0955 (for Little Bispham) with the last tram back at the same stop at 1753 (1715 ex-Fleetwood). An addition to the usual hop-on, hop-off timetable is a seventh tram with \u201cTram G\u201d to leave depot shortly after 1400 on each day.<\/p>\n<p>The planned allocations for each day are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday 24<sup>th <\/sup><\/strong><strong>September<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A \u2013 Bolton 66<\/p>\n<p>B \u2013 Centenary 648<\/p>\n<p>C \u2013 Balloon 715<\/p>\n<p>D \u2013 Boat 227<\/p>\n<p>E \u2013 Balloon 700<\/p>\n<p>F \u2013 Brush 621<\/p>\n<p>G \u2013 Balloon 717<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday 25<sup>th<\/sup> September<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A \u2013 Boat 600<\/p>\n<p>B \u2013 Balloon 700<\/p>\n<p>C \u2013 Railcoach 680<\/p>\n<p>D \u2013 Balloon 715<\/p>\n<p>E \u2013 Brush 631<\/p>\n<p>F \u2013 Balloon 723<\/p>\n<p>G \u2013 Rebuilt Balloon 707<\/p>\n<p>Rebuilt Balloon 718 will also be out as the Shop Tram at North Pier in both days.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What else is going on?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As previously announced there will also be various other tours taking place over the weekend<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday 24<sup>th<\/sup> September<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Real Ale Tour \u2013 1500<\/p>\n<p>Tramtown Tours \u2013 1030, 1245<\/p>\n<p>Ghost Tram \u2013 1915<\/p>\n<p>Promenade Tours \u2013 1310, 1440<\/p>\n<p>Coastal Tours \u2013 1340<\/p>\n<p>Illumination Tours from 1930<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday 25<sup>th<\/sup> September<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mini System Tour \u2013 0930<\/p>\n<p>Starr Gate Depot Tour \u2013 1200<\/p>\n<p>Promenade Tours \u2013 1310, 1440<\/p>\n<p>Coastal Tour \u2013 1340<\/p>\n<p>Illumination Tours \u2013 2000, 2120<\/p>\n<p>The Mini System Tour is a new initiative for this year and will see a tram leaving the depot at 0930 for a tour using various crossovers and loops not normally served by heritage service trams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tickets<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A special Two Day Event pass is available for \u00a350 (adults). This includes two day tickets (worth \u00a318 per day), a depot tour, the Mini System Tour, an Illumination Tour and the Ghost Tram or Real Ale Tour. Individual tickets are also available.
