Bennett Street Parcel Depot, Ardwick"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Its \u201cStill Standing\u201d with a difference today as its not! We return to a previous location as we see the former Bennett Street Parcel Depot in Ardwick, Greater Manchester during its recent demolition.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We previously featured this location back in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=35249\">August 2020<\/a> as part of a wider article looking at the once vast Hyde Road Depot and Works. The entire complex dates back to 1902 with initially trams, then trolleybuses and then buses all calling it home \u2013 the last trams departed in 1948.
