The new vinyl wraps on Manchester Metrolink keep on coming \u2013 the latest to be noted out in service is on 3116<\/strong> with a colourful advert for Sale Sharks (Rugby Union club) having been applied during August.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

3116<\/strong> had previously been carrying standard fleet livery before the application of this advert although it isn\u2019t its first advert. This was for Cheshire Oaks Outlet between May and September 2019.<\/p>\n

The design uses different slogans on each side. On one side it features \u201cRed to Blue everyone\u2019s a shark\u201d and is part of a new advertising campaign ahead of the new rugby union season. Obviously the shades of blue and red have been chosen to match the colours of a certain two football teams in the area and we\u2019re not talking about Oldham and Altrincham!<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the other side states “Fabric of the North” and “The only Rugby team to support in the north”.<\/p>\n
