{"id":46036,"date":"2022-08-12T18:00:59","date_gmt":"2022-08-12T17:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=46036"},"modified":"2022-08-10T19:27:00","modified_gmt":"2022-08-10T18:27:00","slug":"picture-in-time-blackpool-brush-633-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=46036","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Blackpool Brush 633"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After three weeks of OMOs in Fleetwood \u201cPicture in Time\u201d this week returns to Blackpool where we\u2019re back with crew operated trams.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>That tram is <strong>Brush Car 633<\/strong> which is seen pausing at Tower in May 1977 when working through to Fleetwood. The slogan used to be \u201calways a tram in sight\u201d but this is a relatively quiet early season scene which is taken from the old Tower bridge. North Pier and the Cenotaph provide the backdrop.<\/p>\n<p>Today <strong>633<\/strong> looks very different to this as it was converted to the Illuminated Trawler at the turn of the century (entering service August 2001) \u2013 the first new illuminated feature car since the 1960s.
