{"id":45768,"date":"2022-07-16T14:00:55","date_gmt":"2022-07-16T13:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=45768"},"modified":"2022-07-15T20:33:04","modified_gmt":"2022-07-15T19:33:04","slug":"net-community-heroes-tram-named","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=45768","title":{"rendered":"NET Community Heroes tram named"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was back in March 2022 that the latest recipients of the Nottingham Community Heroes award were named \u2013 and now the two lucky winners have unveiled their names on Nottingham Express Transit\u2019s designated Community Heroes tram: Citadis <strong>222<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Bill Chambers, 79 \u2013 a football coach, and Benjamin Rosser, 42 \u2013 CEO of the Pythian Club, were both present at the special ceremony which took place at Nottingham Express Transit\u2019s depot at Wilkinson Street on 14<sup>th<\/sup> July.<\/p>\n<p>They had been voted Community Heroes earlier this year with Natalie Fahy, editor of the Nottingham Post, one of those who decided the winners. Natalie said: \u201cIt was an honour to be part of the process to find Nottingham&#8217;s Community Heroes. \u00a0Ben and Bill received many nominations from our readers, and have changed so many lives across the city. It&#8217;s great to see their names on the side of the tram and for them to get the recognition they deserve.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ben and Bill\u2019s names will now be seen on <strong>222<\/strong> for the next year at which point new Community Heroes will be named.
