The Crich Tramway Village has now reopened after an enforced closure from mid-May to early July but in this latest edition of \u201cOut and About\u201d we head along to the museum before that drama on what was a two-tram service day featuring Blackpool 167<\/strong> and Metropolitan Electric Tramways 331<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This first image looks along the main museum street from Town End and sees Blackpool 167 approaching at the end of another journey from Glory Mine. In doing so it passes a collection of visiting cars parked outside The Red Lion.<\/p><\/div>\n

Taken from on board 167 we are just approaching the passing loop where Metropolitan Electric Tramways 331 and its conductor waits for the exchange of the single-line token.<\/p><\/div>\n

MET 331 stands at Town End as visitors board. The Eagle Press building is on the left.<\/p><\/div>\n

The two trams again with this view taken through the windscreen of 331 as 167 arrives back at Stephenson Place.<\/p><\/div>\n

Long since operational, Sheffield 189 was at the front of the depot with its destination set for Malin Bridge. Whether deliberate or not it is 70 years since the original tram route to Malin Bridge closed.<\/p><\/div>\n
