The past few days have seen another couple of trams receive new adverts on Edinburgh Trams \u2013 both directly replacing expired contracts. The new adverts are on 262<\/strong> and 272<\/strong> with the pair both seen with their new vinyls during the first full week of July.<\/p>\n

The advert on 262<\/strong> is for Hard Rock Caf\u00e9 and replaces a design for Ocean Winds. The advert features the slogan \u201cEXPERIENCE THE TASTE OF VICTORY\u201d as it is promoting the new Messi burger. Named after the Argentinian football superstar the burger look a tad more impressive from a McDonald\u2019s hamburger but one does have to wonder whether it should be part of an international sports star\u2019s regular diet!<\/p>\n

With a black background and mainly white writing the full height adverts include images of Lionel Messi with the burger. This advert is the sixth 262<\/strong> has carried (CR Smith, Macdonald Hotels\/Paul Tamburrini, Spotify, Clearwater Analytics, Ocean Winds \u2013 only 261<\/strong> has had more.<\/p>\n

But there is another tram which has now had six \u2013 and that\u2019s 272<\/strong> which is other tram to receive new adverts. Replacing adverts for The Royal Highland Show (which has now happened) is a design for the ESPC \u2013 Edinburgh Solicitors Property Centre \u2013 which was founded in March 1971. A far less star studded affair, the adverts include several shades of blue with the full height sections telling us they are the \u201cFirst choice for home buyers\u201d and that \u201c77% of properties were exclusive to ESPC.<\/p>\n

272<\/strong> has now featured adverts for CR Smith, Royal Highland Show, Audi, John Lewis, Royal Highland Show (again) and now the ESPC.<\/p>\n

Currently only one tram in the fleet does not have any external advertising \u2013 263<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
