The Light Rail Safety and Standards Board have released a new three year business plan following the confirmation of \u00a33.3 million worth of funding from the Department for Transport. This gives the organisation \u2013 who are responsible for driving light rail safety across the country \u2013 a clear vision for the future.<\/p>\n

The LRSSB\u2019s Business Plan sets out how they aim\u00a0 to deliver its core objective \u201cPrevent Incidents, Reduce Harm\u201d. Amongst seven key strategic aims set out are enhanced stakeholder engagement, the further development of an integrated risk management framework and the upgrading of a comprehensive incident reporting database.<\/p>\n
Carl Williams, LRSSB Chief Executive, said: \u201cNow that the funding package, worth \u00a33.3 million over three years, is in place we are in a position to accelerate our ambitious delivery programme.
