We see a member of staff lowering the trolley pole that has been used for <strong>Sunderland 100<\/strong>\u2019s journey from the Dunston end. The building in the background is the Derwent Tower, known locally as the Dunston Rocket, which was built in 1972 to a design by the Owen Luder Partnership and demolished in 2012. Looking perhaps even more like a rocket is the Festival\u2019s attempt to represent the Eiffel Tower.
