{"id":45078,"date":"2022-05-21T22:00:59","date_gmt":"2022-05-21T21:00:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=45078"},"modified":"2022-05-23T13:48:18","modified_gmt":"2022-05-23T12:48:18","slug":"more-heritage-tram-events-for-blackpools-platinum-jubilee-celebrations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=45078","title":{"rendered":"More Heritage Tram events for Blackpool\u2019s Platinum Jubilee celebrations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019ve known for a while that there would be a Tram Parade in Blackpool to help celebrate the Queen\u2019s Platinum Jubilee and now its been confirmed that there will be more Blackpool Heritage Tram Tour events \u2013 including regular heritage tours between Pleasure Beach and Bispham on the afternoon of Thursday 2nd June, yes the return to normal tours albeit just for three hours!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>A number of the events which are now being mentioned are part of the regular offering from Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours and have been in the calendar for a while but some have also been added into the mix, with various tours taking place from Wednesday 1<sup>st<\/sup> until Sunday 5<sup>th<\/sup> June.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday 1<sup>st<\/sup> June<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Afternoon Tea Tour \u2013 departing North Pier at 1100 the tour takes you to Little Bispham and then back south to Pleasure Beach and then North Pier again. Its then off to the Blackpool Tower for afternoon tea.<\/li>\n<li>Coastal Tour \u2013 1040 departure running North Pier-Fleetwood (break)-North Pier. A double decker is booked for the trip.<\/li>\n<li>Promenade Tours \u2013 1410 and 1540 departures running North Pier-Little Bispham-Pleasure Beach-North Pier. Double decker is booked for these trips.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Thursday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> June<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tram Parade \u2013 featuring around 12 trams running from Pleasure Beach to Little Bispham and back, the parade departs at 1430 and will pause at the Tower Headland for unique photo opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Coastal Tour \u2013 1010 departure running North Pier-Fleetwood (break)-North Pier. Booked for a double decker.<\/li>\n<li>Promenade Tour \u2013 1040 departure running North Pier-Little Bispham-Pleasure Beach-North Pier. Vintage double decker is booked for these trips (Bolton 66)<\/li>\n<li>Jubilee special Promenade Tours \u2013 from 1600 to 1900 only you can hop on frequent Promenade Tours anywhere between Pleasure Beach and Bispham, departing at whichever heritage stop you want! They will run approximately every 15 minutes with prices set as \u00a35 for an adult and \u00a32.50 for a child per tour.<\/li>\n<li>Evening Tours \u2013 There will be two tours using the Western Train running at 1900 and 2015 from North Pier-Little Bispham-Pleasure Beach-North Pier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Friday 3<sup>rd<\/sup> June<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promenade Tours \u2013 running at 1110 (vintage double decker), 1240 (vintage double decker), 1410 (Boat Car), 1540 (Boat Car). North Pier-Little Bispham-Pleasure Beach-North Pier.<\/li>\n<li>Coastal Tours \u2013 running at 1040 and 1510 with a double decker booked to operate the tour from North Pier to Fleetwood and back to North Pier.<\/li>\n<li>Fish &amp; Chips Tour \u2013 Boarding at North Pier 1845 for a tour running North Pier-Little Bispham-Pleasure Beach-North Pier with fish and chips on board!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Saturday 4<sup>th<\/sup> June<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promenade Tours \u2013 running at 1110 (vintage double decker), 1240 (vintage double decker), 1410 (Boat Car), 1540 (Boat Car). North Pier-Little Bispham-Pleasure Beach-North Pier.<\/li>\n<li>Coastal Tours \u2013 running at 1040 and 1510 with a double decker booked to operate the tour from North Pier to Fleetwood and back to North Pier.<\/li>\n<li>Guided Depot Tour \u2013 At 1030 (sold out) and 1245<\/li>\n<li>Real Ale Tour \u2013 Departs North Pier for Little Bispham at 1500 before returning south to Pleasure Beach and back to North Pier with the chance to sample two ales on board.<\/li>\n<li>Evening Tour \u2013 Using a double decker and departing North Pier at 1900 the tour runs to Little Bispham, back to Pleasure Beach and then terminating at North Pier.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Sunday 5<sup>th<\/sup> June<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promenade Tours \u2013 running at 1110 (vintage double decker), 1240 (vintage double decker), 1410 (Boat Car), 1540 (Boat Car).
