The tram was cleared for service the previous day and was used on the East Didsbury to Rochdale service on its first day.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>3137<\/strong> \u2013 which at the time of entry into service was the newest tram in Manchester \u2013 had been delivered on 5<sup>th<\/sup> March bringing the gap between arrival and entry into service back down to below a month again.<\/p>\n<p>It won\u2019t be the newest tram in the city for long though as <strong>3138<\/strong> is due to delivered on Saturday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> April.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thursday 31st March saw Manchester Metrolink\u2019s latest M5000 enter service with 3137 carrying its first passengers.
