With the car coming to a rest against an overhead support pole there was an immediate suspension of services between MediaCityUK and Pomona.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The car \u2013 a black Mercedes \u2013 was reported as having left the road at around 2030 having been involved in an accident with a van, crossing the pavement going through a bollard and then coming to a rest against a centre overhead pole at the Harbour City stop. The fire service attended the scene to assist with a rescue and removal of the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>During the disruption services from Eccles only ran as far as MediaCityUK with no service from there to Pomona.
