Based on elements of full-sized trams which ran in London on Metropolitan Electric Tramways and London United Tramways, <strong>2<\/strong> was originally built for the Modern Electric Tramways operation in Eastbourne and was one of the trams which was moved to Seaton and regauged to the 2 foot 9 inch gauge used in Devon during 1970.
