{"id":43665,"date":"2022-02-11T18:00:20","date_gmt":"2022-02-11T18:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=43665"},"modified":"2022-02-05T14:40:40","modified_gmt":"2022-02-05T14:40:40","slug":"picture-in-time-midland-metro-03-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=43665","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Midland Metro 03"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cPicture in Time\u201d returns to Midland Metro today as we take another look at one of the T69s in service.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>T69 <strong>03<\/strong> was originally delivered to Wednesbury Depot on 17<sup>th<\/sup> June 1998 and would remain operational until December 2013. It was the third tram to be permanently withdrawn from service and would then remain stored at the depot until 11<sup>th<\/sup> March 2016. At that point it was transferred to Long Marston for further storage. It was scrapped in 2018 at Booths in Rotherham having been sold at an e-auction.<\/p>\n<p>In this photo we see <strong>03<\/strong> arriving at Wednesbury Parkway with a service from Wolverhampton St George\u2019s to Birmingham Snow Hill. The date is 5<sup>th<\/sup> June 2008.
