This was the last year that <strong>02<\/strong> would run in passenger service with final withdrawal coming in December 2009 \u2013 the second of the class to be taken out of use, following on from 01 three years earlier. <strong>02<\/strong> had been delivered to the West Midlands in May 1998 and would leave on 7<sup>th<\/sup> October 2014. Initially heading to storage at Long Marston it then left there in 2018 for scrapping.<\/p>\n<p>This image shows the tram accessing the road side platform at St George\u2019s.
