{"id":4356,"date":"2013-06-29T18:19:32","date_gmt":"2013-06-29T17:19:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=4356"},"modified":"2013-06-29T18:19:32","modified_gmt":"2013-06-29T17:19:32","slug":"in-pictures-southampton-45-in-kimberley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=4356","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Southampton 45 in Kimberley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Southampton 45 <\/strong>made a trip on a low loader to Kimberley in Nottingham for one day only to help the town celebrate the centenary of the \u201cRipley Rattlers\u201d tram system. <strong>45<\/strong> was chosen to go on display as it is of a similar type to the tramcars which did operate on the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Tramway which started operating in Kimberley in 1913.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Having been loaded at its current home of the Crich Tramway Village onto the familiar sight of a Scotts Heavy Haulage low loader on Friday 28 June, <strong>45<\/strong> was transported the fairly short distance to Kimberley in time for it to be on display on Saturday 29 June.
