{"id":43283,"date":"2022-01-10T22:00:31","date_gmt":"2022-01-10T22:00:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=43283"},"modified":"2022-01-10T17:16:51","modified_gmt":"2022-01-10T17:16:51","slug":"llandudno-colwyn-bay-tramway-society-launch-2022-appeal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=43283","title":{"rendered":"Llandudno &#038; Colwyn Bay Tramway Society launch 2022 Appeal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Llandudno &amp; Colwyn Bay Tramway Society \u2013 owners of replica Llandudno &amp; Colwyn Bay Electric Railway 7 \u2013 have launched a new appeal for 2022 as they continue to try to cover their costs, with the past couple of years seeing a massive reduction in events to allow for normal fundraising.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The new appeal is being publicised as \u201cPlease Donate \u00a37 a month for Tram no. 7 for at least 7 months\u201d \u2013 and a generous supporter has offered to match every monthly \u00a37 raised for the first seven months of 2022 so your donations will in fact be doubled!<\/p>\n<p>And as a bonus anyone who donates 7 x \u00a37 monthly payments before the Society AGM in September will be entered into a free draw for one year\u2019s membership of the Society.<\/p>\n<p>Like many other volunteer led organisations the Society has been hit by a fall in donations during the pandemic, especially with the majority of the visible events they usually attend being cancelled.
