{"id":43069,"date":"2021-12-21T20:00:19","date_gmt":"2021-12-21T20:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=43069"},"modified":"2021-12-21T18:25:02","modified_gmt":"2021-12-21T18:25:02","slug":"edinburgh-free-late-night-trams-follow-hogmanay-celebrations-in-being-cancelled","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=43069","title":{"rendered":"Edinburgh free late night trams follow Hogmanay celebrations in being cancelled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Edinburgh Trams have confirmed that their previously announced free overnight trams on New Year\u2019s Eve into New Year\u2019s Day will now not run after new restrictions introduced by the Scottish government saw the Edinburgh Hogmanay celebrations cancelled.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As a result of the cancellation of this event the need for the trams to run overnight has gone and so these free trams will not be running and it will be back to normal hours of operation. The second of the trams spotted with reindeer names is 275 \u2013 still retaining its plainer fleet livery than usual \u2013 which is named Cupid on one end and Vixen on the other.
