{"id":42610,"date":"2021-11-29T18:00:10","date_gmt":"2021-11-29T18:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=42610"},"modified":"2021-11-27T16:06:05","modified_gmt":"2021-11-27T16:06:05","slug":"trams-nottingham-express-transit-216-bus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=42610","title":{"rendered":"Trams &#038;: Nottingham Express Transit 216 &#038; bus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In this edition of \u201cTrams &amp;\u201d we are off to the East Midlands as we feature a image at one of Nottingham Express Transit\u2019s termini with a tram joined by another bus.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This photo was taken on 19<sup>th<\/sup> September 2021, a rather grey Sunday, at Hucknall where if you are very lucky with your timings you could possibly get a bus, tram and train in the same photo! We weren\u2019t quite that lucky in this shot but two out of three ain\u2019t bad! The tram interest in this photo is provided by <strong>216<\/strong> \u2013 the first of the 21 strong class of Alstom Citadis trams built for NET in Barcelona from 2013-4, it arriving in the East Midlands a little over eight years before this photo (10<sup>th<\/sup> September 2013). The tram will soon be departing for Toton Lane.<\/p>\n<p>It is joined in this photo by a rail replacement bus which is running a service on behalf of East Midlands Railway to Mansfield Woodhouse calling at all stations on the way.
