Built in 1948 as a standard SW6 tram it remained in service all the way through to the mid-1990s \u2013 even including a role in the film Malcolm! In 1994\/5 it was converted into a restaurant tram becoming <strong>Restaurant Tram no. 3<\/strong> and remained operational until May 2012 when it was withdrawn from service for the last time. The Ballarat Tramway Museum acquired it in 2014 and received a grant to restore it with the tram being completed in 2016.
