After the success of the Light Rail Summit which took place in Edinburgh during September and organised by UKTram and the Light Rail Safety and Standards Board it has been confirmed that another event will take place in 2022 \u2013 with Manchester set as the venue.<\/p>\n

The idea of the summit is to allow top-level debate featuring leading figures from across the light rail sector and provide a wealth of networking opportunities. The actual summit will be preceded by a day of UKTram working group meetings, bringing together experts in light rail engineering, operations and other disciplines.<\/p>\n
The Light Rail Summit 2022 will take place in Manchester on Thursday 15th<\/sup> September.<\/p>\n Jamie Swift, UKTram Marketing and Commercial Manager, said: \u201cAlthough plans are still at an early stage, a date has been set for what promises to be another landmark event for light rail.
