{"id":42135,"date":"2021-10-30T22:00:05","date_gmt":"2021-10-30T21:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=42135"},"modified":"2021-10-30T13:53:15","modified_gmt":"2021-10-30T12:53:15","slug":"in-pictures-a-busy-half-term-at-beamish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=42135","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: A busy half-term at Beamish"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Its traditionally been the last hurrah before the end of the season \u2013 October Half-Term week \u2013 and it would appear that 2021 has been no different with many attractions seeing bumper attendances from families wanting to enjoy a day out before the clocks go back and we all start to count down until Christmas! One such attraction was Beamish where with increased visitor numbers (still on timed tickets) two trams were in service instead of the more usual on we\u2019ve seen since trams returned on 4<sup>th<\/sup> September.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The October Half-Term was the end of daily opening for Beamish (until the Christmas holidays) with the museum now just open Wednesdays to Sunday from 1<sup>st<\/sup> November until 17<sup>th<\/sup> December. Trams are expected to run any day that the museum is open although it is fully expected this will be back down to the one-tram service again.
