Up in the northeast and Beamish currently remains open daily \u2013 pre-booked timeslot tickets are still required to visit \u2013 although come Monday 1st<\/sup> November and that will change with winter opening hours starting which means it will be closed every Monday and Tuesday. The trams are continuing to run their revised service with the section of track past the Events Field between Foulbridge and the Town still remaining closed for maintenance. One tram a day is usually in service although there was mention that the October Half Term holidays would see a slightly enhanced service. In this latest pictorial update we take a look at a typical operating day in October \u2013 which also enabled the chance for a peek into road 1 of the depot which is now home to Gateshead 52<\/strong>. 14th October 2021 saw Blackpool 31 allocated to service. Here we see the trolley being turned on the tram where trams are currently turned just beyond the Town street.<\/p><\/div>\n

Road 1 of the depot is now home to the \u201cto be restored\u201d trams. Gateshead 52 is closest to the camera \u2013 very much a potential long-term project for restoration \u2013 and Oporto 65 is just beyond that.<\/p><\/div>\n
