The incident occurred on High Street after the incident at 1630 leading to all tram services through the area being suspended and revised services being put in place.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The man was taken to hospital by air ambulance but sadly died of his injuries with a man in his 30s arrested at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>With a major investigation launched by South Yorkshire Police no trams could run through the main spine of the Supertram network for the remainder of the evening. During the disruption trams ran as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blue route \u2013 Halfway to Sheffield Station and Shalesmoor to Malin Bridge<\/li>\n<li>Purple route \u2013 Herdings Park to Sheffield Station<\/li>\n<li>Yellow route \u2013 Meadowhall to Sheffield Station and Shalesmoor to Middlewood<\/li>\n<li>Tram-Train route \u2013 Rotherham Parkgate to Sheffield Station<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our thoughts are with anyone affected by this incident.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A man has died in hospital after being stabbed in Sheffield City Centre on Friday 17th September.
