{"id":41459,"date":"2021-09-11T22:00:42","date_gmt":"2021-09-11T21:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=41459"},"modified":"2021-09-11T15:46:26","modified_gmt":"2021-09-11T14:46:26","slug":"in-pictures-metrolink-3130-arrives-in-manchester","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=41459","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Metrolink 3130 arrives in Manchester"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After a couple of weeks where there were no new M5000s waiting to enter service on Manchester Metrolink, the latest tram has now been delivered to Queens Road Depot with <strong>3130<\/strong> turning up in the standard late morning\/lunchtime Saturday slot on 11<sup>th<\/sup> September 2021.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>3130<\/strong> is the tenth of this latest batch of M5000s to be delivered to Manchester with a further 17 still to come. They were originally ordered at the start of July 2018 but after delays caused by issues in the supply chain as well as the Covid pandemic their arrival has been later than planned (the original plan would have seen all arrive by June 2021!).<\/p>\n<p>As with all arrivals <strong>3130<\/strong> arrived without the livery details on the tram (the spots are missing for a start!) but these will be added during the commissioning process. This will take a few weeks and will include mileage accumulation before it is cleared for service.
