In this article we take another trip up Talbot Road in Blackpool to the former Wilko\u2019s site in front of Blackpool North Railway Station to see some more progress of the concrete pour with the track up to the scissors crossover now having been encased in place.<\/p>\n

Concrete is poured around the scissors crossover. It seems a very complex operation with a very tall piece of equipment used just to pour a small amount of concrete!<\/p><\/div>\n

A closer view as the concrete is gently poured around the already laid rails.<\/p><\/div>\n

Later on in the day after the workers had finished for the day and we look up towards the scissors crossover with the wire mesh in place ready for more concrete.<\/p><\/div>\n
