Unite the Union are quoted in the Manchester Evening News as saying a recent pay offer is \u201cpitiful\u201d and this was rejected by over 90% of their members in a ballot. The next stage of the dispute is likely to the be the union running another ballot asking whether there is support for a strike.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Details of what the pay offer is, or what Unite members are seeking, have not been released with KeolisAmey Metrolink having not responded to the Manchester Evening News\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Dave Roberts, Unite regional officer, is quoted: \u201cWorkers were due to receive a pay rise in January and it is nearly August. The company has made a frankly pitiful offer which members have rejected by over 90 per cent in a consultative ballot.
