{"id":40669,"date":"2021-07-30T18:00:21","date_gmt":"2021-07-30T17:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=40669"},"modified":"2021-07-24T13:53:36","modified_gmt":"2021-07-24T12:53:36","slug":"picture-in-time-paisley-68-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=40669","title":{"rendered":"Picture in Time: Paisley 68"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The next location for our non-Blackpool Traditional Trams \u201cPicture in Time\u201d series is Crich with a selection of photos which were taken on 27<sup>th<\/sup> August 1979 \u2013 August Bank Holiday Monday.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The first tram we feature is <strong>Paisley 68<\/strong> which has long been a popular member of the operational fleet of Crich. Today, of course, it has returned to its identity of <strong>Glasgow 1068<\/strong> (which it took when Paisley\u2019s undertaking was taken over by Glasgow Corporation in 1923) but up until 2012 it was <strong>Paisley 68<\/strong> when it ran at Crich.
