{"id":40154,"date":"2021-06-26T14:00:20","date_gmt":"2021-06-26T13:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=40154"},"modified":"2021-06-25T18:31:31","modified_gmt":"2021-06-25T17:31:31","slug":"around-the-world-in-trams-san-francisco-1062-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=40154","title":{"rendered":"Around the World in Trams: San Francisco 1062"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In this edition of \u201cAround the World in Trams\u201d we see another of the San Francisco PCCs in action on the F-line streetcar service.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This photo was taken on 4<sup>th<\/sup> September 2006 and shows <strong>1062<\/strong> on the way to Castro as a trolleybus heads in the opposite direction. This was another PCC which purchased by Muni from Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority in 1992 following its retirement there. It started off life as <strong>2101<\/strong> in the Philadelphia Transportation Company in 1948.
