{"id":39413,"date":"2021-05-12T20:00:57","date_gmt":"2021-05-12T19:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=39413"},"modified":"2021-05-12T16:23:06","modified_gmt":"2021-05-12T15:23:06","slug":"in-pictures-blackpool-007-returns-to-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=39413","title":{"rendered":"In Pictures: Blackpool 007 returns to action"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We reported last week after 001\u2019s return to service in Blackpool after a short period out as it received attention at Starr Gate Depot and the fleet of Flexity2 trams available for use ahead of a timetable improvement has also increased further as well with <strong>007<\/strong> now back in action.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>007<\/strong> was first noted in service again on 2<sup>nd<\/sup> May 2021, this was believed to be its first passenger use for nearly two years with the last reports of its use being in August 2019. Its not known what has kept the tram off the road but there is no doubt its return is a positive sign of the Flexity2 fleet and should hopefully mean later this year when services increase \u2013 and in the future when trams will also run to Blackpool North Railway Station \u2013 that there is enough capacity out on the tramway.
