{"id":39297,"date":"2021-05-03T12:00:24","date_gmt":"2021-05-03T11:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=39297"},"modified":"2021-05-01T14:58:26","modified_gmt":"2021-05-01T13:58:26","slug":"lockdown-walks-edinburgh-trams-271-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.britishtramsonline.co.uk\/news\/?p=39297","title":{"rendered":"Lockdown Walks: Edinburgh Trams 271"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In this edition of \u201cLockdown Walks\u201d we are featuring Edinburgh Trams once more.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Like many other city centres across the UK there always seems to be new developments in Edinburgh, although unlike others a lot more seems to be the redevelopment of older buildings for new purposes taking into consideration the historical nature of the area. One such building is seen in the below photo on the left-hand side with the flagpole at the back of the tram. This is 100 Princes Street which is being restored by Red Carnation Hotels as an upscale boutique hotel.
