\u201cPicture In Time\u201d is again looking back at the Seaton Tramway of day\u2019s gone by today.<\/p>\n

Today we feature no. 7<\/strong> \u2013 a tram which has been stored out of service at Riverside Depot for a number of years but plans are now afoot for it s to be overhauled and returned to service over the next few years. But at the time of this photo 7<\/strong> was very much operational as it is seen having just arrived at Colyton. The station site here looks a little different to that we are used to today but in the distance on the left we can still see the old railway platform where another tram \u2013 no. 2<\/strong> \u2013 is at the loading stop for a return journey to Seaton.<\/p>\n

Back to 7<\/strong> though and this tram was built in 1958 with its lower deck having the saloons at each end \u2013 as we saw with 6<\/strong>\u2019s rebuild last week \u2013 and aside from its 1976 regauging from 2 foot to 2 foot 9 inches it has seen very little change over the years.<\/p>\n
